Certified Professional Midwife, in Lake in the Hills, on Saturday, August 14, 1999.
Hana is their first child and weighed 9 pounds 1 ounce and measured 22 inches in length.

Two of our four children were born at home.
Those were the best birth experiences. I wasn't too sure about home birthing with my first, so I compromised and went to a free standing birth center. Laboring was great and I learned that I would have really enjoyed things at home. Since then, I had my second at home with a midwife; two first trimester miscarriages and my third baby at home, intimately with only my husband attending. Steven Michael

Wonderful labour and birth
Angela Lynn Groves BORN AT HOME My 3rd child, Joseph was born at home unassisted after a previous c-section, than I gave birth to my 4th baby girl, Jade Marie at home unassisted as well. What a wonderful experience! The best way to give birth is to have little or no trauma to a precious new baby!

Born at
home in water after 3 hours. Beautiful and peaceful.
My
daughter Kettie Mae Biermeier was born at home in the water
on February 10, 2002 after one and a half hours of labor. Please add
her to the list. I will be giving birth at home again this June and
look forward to adding the next too!! Ester Ingalis Myers was born at home in a tub, October 21, 1999 to Trish and Bruce Myers and sister Rose Strasen. It was AWSOME!

My son Marcus poked his head
out several times in the water tub on our deck on a
beautiful August day. Unfortunately that is all he did
at home! We made a choice to go to the hospital (that's
a whole other nightmare).
3 years later we were very
successful with my second son Samuel using the same
wonderful midwife, friends and family gathered around,
even my 3 year old son could watch his brother come into
the world! How glorious it was. The two main faces I
saw in those final moments before birth were my husband
Wayne, (who I was pile driving into the floor with every
contraction) and my friend John who was stead with
that cool wash cloth (it was another beautiful August
day!).
Even before giving birth I
knew home was the best place, after the nightmare
delivery I know that home is the only place to have
children. Debra O'Conner is the greatest midwife and
friend any family could have!

past her due date) on Dec 19, 2001 in Huntington Woods,

What a wonderful experience after two home births to be
able to have my baby in an environment that was just as

My daughter Eilish Ceona Mahala Coyle was born May 30,2003 at home unassisted in her daddy’s hands. She was my 3 hour water birth baby, weighing 9lbs 6 ozs .
