Hana is their first child and weighed 9 pounds 1 ounce and measured 22 inches in length.

Judah's birth was (check this out!) a surprise
unassisted vbac water birth, 5 weeks after what we thought was his due
date!!! It was AWESOME!!!
My mother is the youngest of 8 and only she & her next older sister were born in the hospital. The older six, four girls & 2 boys, were all born at home in the 1920’s and 1930’s. My beautiful Dakota (9/16/03) was born in the hospital & it was clear he really wasn’t “ours” until we got him home. Never again if we can at all help it! Beautiful son #2, Duncan Joseph McClure, was born at home 9/26/03 with a DEM/CPM with Dad & Big Brother both as support. Dakota had been asleep & awoke in the middle of the night, though the house was silent, for the birth. He was supposed to be there! It was the most beautiful experience in my parenting. Debbie The 4 youngest of my 7 children have been born at home. Baby #8 is expected in June, and will also be born at home. My homeborn children are:

Unfortunately my first births took place in a
hospital, but were natural, and the second of those hospital births was
for our twins (wished I'd have known better)- dec 1994 and twins dec
1997 -... since then we had our daughter at home and unattended (oct
2000) and we just gave birth to our fourth son (august 2003) unattended
as well. i would never go back to the hospital again! there's
something so special about the comfort and safety of your own home and
such welcoming and warm way to begin a new family!

and twins noah and nathan dec 30, 1997
home births = claire oct 13, 2000
(that was friday the 13th and full moon!) and aidan august 29,
2003

Prue Hall, and Crispin Ashur Hall, who was also born in
water, in the caul.
My first three children were born in the
hospital. My fourth was a homebirth, my fifth was a home water birth!
It was perfect!
