Certified Professional Midwife, in Lake in the Hills, on Saturday, August 14, 1999.
Hana is their first child and weighed 9 pounds 1 ounce and measured 22 inches in length.

children were born at home. My son was born at home 7 weeks ago. January
26, 2004. His name is River Inti Estrada Clark. He was born
unassisted after a long labor. Perhaps technically unassisted, as we
finally called my friend (who is a midwife) at the very end, however she
didn't show up until he was already crowning, and all she ended up doing was
helping us clean up! My daughter, Piper Caledonia Rainbow Rolfe was born at home, in water, on 6/29/02 at 5:55PM.
I have 2 of my 3 daughters born at home with the
assistance of my oldest daughter, husband, and 2 awesome midwives!

My son, Jeffery Wayne Shaw was born at
home on Friday, February 13, 2004, with only my husband and myself in
attendance. It was a truly amazing experience.

My first two
children were born in hospital and the last three were home births. My
fourth child was a home water birth. We had planned a water birth with our
fifth however, pushing only lasted 2 minutes and I didn't make it to the
tub.
