carefully thrown out all the ones in the pack she left!) a very firm 'no' got rid of the

"third-world" countries, that were and are born at home. That includes me

my children were planned homebirths. My first born was however a surprise breech baby and
was delivered by ceasarian. My second child was successfully delivered into water
during a wonderful labour at home. So please add my son

I had an undiagnosed home twin waterbirth ! I did not have ultrasound, and I saw 2 midwives and an ob. I switched to a home birth midwife in the last 10 weeks of preganancy due to doctor office politics. It was meant to be !

My two older ones were born in hospital, one in a conventional hospital delivery and one in a birthing center inside a hospital. I have just had the privilege of assisting with the births of my second and third grandchildren. Tucker Nathan Sullins 4-1-99 Wt. 9 lb, 12 oz. Labor 3 hrs, 10 min. Sidney Grace Greenlee 5-17-99 Wt. 9 lb., 6 oz. Labor 14 hrs, 30 min. Tucker's older sister was born in hospital, but she was born frank breech and my daughter insisted upon a vaginal delivery (result of her knowledge as a midwife's child). We planned a homebirth after disgusting
treatment at the local hospital.
Then we met Cathy and Nigel from Birthing hands.
Two wonderful midwives with plenty of love and encouragement. After a 20
hour labour, Indigo was born into his fathers waiting arms on our living
room floor. we will never be the same again.
My three children were all born at home: Chelsea Raine Wildner, born at home to Dave and Kym, November 15, 1991 My two children, Yan and Mia Bourke were born at home in Dublin Ireland on January 29th 1988 and May 25th 1990 respectively. They were both born with the caul, I've kept them both, one preserved in surgical spirits one I dried out and keep in a kitchen drawer!
